Most actively developed branch at the moment?

I've been using the one from nex3 and i really like it. I've also looked at ar and rainbow and a few others. They all seem appealing for different reasons. Just curious if one gets more attention / is one better suited for me to code my new companies website with? Also i'm considering a javascript implementation for client side stuff and there seems to be a few of those as well. Thanks

I don't think you really want the most actively developed branch, but rather the most stable branch. My Arcueid is very actively developed, but I would definitely not recommend you use it for a production site!

Unless Mr. Graham is presently using a new version of Arc that isn't publicly available to run this forum and Hacker News, the fact that these sites are running well should be a good sign. I think that unless there are extensions you need that the reference Arc 3.1 does not provide, you can't go very wrong there. I've been using the Anarki (nex3) branch as well, and it is fine.

@oggy: I'm fairly new here myself, and based on what I've seen since joining, the most recently active branch has been Lite-Nu/Arc-Nu. Anarki (the nex3 branch) hasn't been as active lately. Checkout https://sites.google.com/site/arclanguagewiki/ for more info on them.

The extent to which these extend Arc varies, so you should browse through their respective source codes as that will give you the clearest view on this front. You may find some of the extensions particularly useful, or not depending on your needs.

The authors of these branches would be in the best position to advise how suitable they are for production sites. HTH.
